Hello,
A long (50 km) petroleum underground pipe is designed to have a flow metering station every 2 km.
How can I draw a P&ID to show one typical metering station which will be repeated 25 times ?
A simple sketch will be helpful.

regards

I would draw one complete installation with all piping and instrumentation shown, except instrumentation bubbles would just be labeled generically such as FE-A, FIT-A, etc. I would make a note that this is a typical installation for 25 spaced every 2 km. Then I would make a schedule/table listing all 25 installations in rows and all instrumentation of all installations in the columns and list the actual instrumentation numbers for each of the 25 stations.

If you have all the details and instrumentation shown in one typical detail, the only difference in the other details will be the actual instrumentation numbers.

Thank you,
But I will also prepare a drawing of the line with tie-ins A1 & A2 (inlet / outlet) , B1 & B2, etc for each installation.

Regards
