Version 14 zoom with wheel mouse?

does version 14 support the zoom/pan function with a wheel mouse. I have Win 98 with a Belkin mini wheel(scroll) mouse. The scroll function works on other applications such as MS word and internet pages, but I can't seam to get it to work in ACAD ver 14. All I get is a snap menu. I tried Mbuttonpan, but I dont think Ver 14 supports it. Any help would be appreciated.

I have tried to change the buttons on the mouse in R14 a lot but hasn't yet come up with any solution on how to get it to work. Not the reply you wanted I guess, but better than nothing..

If anyone out there has managed to change the functions on the mouse I would appreciate it too. -----------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the input, maybe if we get more responces we can find out if it is possiable or not.

When I got my Trakball mouse by Logitech t drove me insane that the wheel made the drawing zoom instead of scroll. To get this to stop happening I went into the mouse properties thru the control panel and set the wheel to be a middle button instead of whatever the default was when I installed it. Hope this helps - altho it may not be anything of use to you.

Thanks crystalrae, actually that might help and I will try it as soon as I get my new hard drive installed on my laptop, but that is another story. I had the computer for 27 hours and oops.... slip crash bang.....
