Hi all

I want to know ventilation required for an ICU , the following screenshot is from the ASHRAE standard . Why is the cfm/ft2 column empty ? does this mean that its designed only on number of people ?

there is always more than basis on which fresh air quantity is determined.

table shows that number of people is generally the most important criteria, if indoor contaminants does not exist, in which case their extraction is primary basis for determining amount of fresh air.

What source are you citing? From ASHRAE 170-13, two OA ACH and 6 ACH are needed.
