variable table se 19 1

i'm still beginer.
I have a problem with variable tabel when i push:" tools- variables-variables... "table don't apear.
i was looking for some setting but i didn't find any .
may someone help me ?

Hi,

- terminate SE
- fire up the regedit and look for the key 'Variable Table':

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version 20\Part\Ribbonbars\Variable Table

and delete the subkey 'FloatPos'. Then start SE and the table should be there
You may also try to delete the whole key 'Variable Table'

i tried to delete "floatpos" and after that all keys but is not working.
I'm useing se 19 not 20.
Do you think is a wrong instalation of the program.
i notice the file "variable tabel and keys" are regenerated after restart .

Hi,

it depends in which environment it's missing. There are
more keys one for each environment here are some more:

...\Profile\RibbonBars\Variable Table
...\SheetMetal\RibbonBars\Variable Table
...\Assembly\RibbonBars\Variable Table
...\LayoutInPart\RibbonBars\Variable Table

After deletion and starting SE the missing keys will be recreated
Ats last resort you may delete the whole key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Unigraphics Solutions\Solid Edge\Version 19

it too will be recreated when SE is started. You will, however, loose
all your setting. Best to make an export of it before deletion.

Hi,

disappearing of dialog windows is at random and most I think never
had this problem.
It may happen that a window just slips under the taskbar while
pushing it down. Relocating the taskbar to either right or left
side of the window will make it visible again.
It might also be a Windows problem in that reading from the registry
results in invalid data: the values returned for Top/LeFt are way
outside the visible area. Placing the window will result in no
error but you won't see it. Or the program reads just the wrong
registry key ...
Working with two displays might also result in this failure. The
display that holds part of SE is not available but the screen
area with that large dimension is still remembered . Placing a
window at a location that is on the second display will succeed
but the second display isn't there ...

I think the problem was because i use 2 monitors
and have different diagonal screens and i can't use them as large monitor .
i understand is better for se because is a open gl
aplication .
