Hello,
I'm trying to make something like this in solidworks:

I was thinking of using the loft tool, and using a helix as the guide path. However, the helix's pitch changes from end to end. My question is, is it possible to create a helix in which the pitch changes continously, or is there a different way I can create such a model? Thanks.

I don't see that feature on my version of SW (2005). What version are you using?

Judging by the date of that post it would probably have to be v2005. What do you find if you do a search in Help for Helix? There should be something about a variable-pitch option in there (if this truly exists in 2005--I don't remember--CorBlimeyLimey probably would remember).

Not in r2005. Looks like you will have to project a curve to the face. Will take some calculations to get the correct curve.
