variable material properties

How can I create in ANSYS a variable material property, let`s say the elastic modulus EX as a function of the spatial coordinate X?
I guess I can do it defining a table, but I do not understand how to load such a table as a material property.

Is it also possible to set the material property orientation tangent to a specified curve?
