I have an application that requires pneumatic vacuum cups to remove components from a mould tool once the tool opens - see video.
There are 8 vacuum cups (on a robotic arm) that are meant to remove 4 lids. The air supply is 6 bar. The components to be removed are rectangular, light and flat (100mm x 50 x 1mm Polycarbonate).
The problem is the location of the ejector pins (in the mould tool): When extended, they push the parts out at an angle, so the vacuum cups can't pick up on the angled surface.
Any suggestions for vacuum cups (type, shape, material) that lend themselves to pick up on flat surfaces at an angle?
