nadam35 - your CD's should arrive automatically. Are you paying your ALC? Service packs you must request on the web site. We use R16 SP3 due to some Boeing work(They run 16, not sure how wide spread, but the Parts and Drawings sent were in R16 format).
Software has been solid. You will need to update your XML viewer from

Boeing have the systems & methodologies to roll out Catia V5 Releases and SP over a weekend across most (if not all) of their global sites. So I assume that most of boeing use R16 at the moment.

Don't assume that instantly. Boeing does in-house beta testing at a number of its major sites, and shares corporate feedback at others.

At the Boeing site that I formerly worked at, it was very uncommon to roll out a new version within a year of its release, if at all.

Releases do get skipped, altogether, sometimes.

Boeing 787 is running R16GA. They are about to roll out SP2HF8 (according to their presentation at COE anyway). The 787 has been running with the latest and greatest from DS. Other areas of Boeing may be at different releases (actually, I think that most of the rest of Boeing Commercial is still on V4).

Most of Boeing commercial is split between V4 and V5.
