V4 Structure into V5

hi all, 1st post here...ive been cruising the site for a while though...
question i have is,
i am testing a transtion from V4 to V5 for 2d drawing production...
i have *.models created w/ AEC package w/ structural shapes.
i cannot seem to get them into V5, & when i do, by adding existing component into structural design...i cannot get the information into my DRAFTING...

can anyone here please help? thnak you very much in advance.

Hi balaban,

Did you try to use Tools, Utility, Migratev4tov5 (or UpdateBatch for the drawings)? Its the best way to make transition from v4 models to v5.
