v4 files need to view in v5

Can I view .exp file in catia v5? (.exp was imported from catia v4 file)

I know that .model can be easily view in catia v5 system.
But, currently my hummingbird system is not working & the only file i can make out of v4 is .exp.

Does anyone have suggestion?

search the forum, you'll find out what to do with EXP file in order to see them in V5

It's a long time since i've used V5 but there is a command in the tools that appeared sometime around release 11 which is to extract model from sequential batch. Hope that helps.

Tools - Utilities : Import or extract Sequential file (something like that anyway)

Don't forget to rename the file so it ends with .exp at least I have to do it every time.
