Our company just upgraded to version 18. Why is it that when I add a component to an asm model it doesn't show on the dft? I haven't had this problem before...

Dave,
Check Occurence Properties for the part in the assy. Make sure it is set to display in draft. Occasionally these occurence properties seem to have a mind of their own.

Also, make sure to get update 9 for V18 ;-)

This may be a stupid question to ask but when you enter the draft file after adding a component do the drawing views have grey rectangles around them? If so you need to update the views. RMB, update view. Or you can click the update all views button on the drawing views toolbar.
