I've been asked to help design (size and specify guying)3 utility poles for a new subdivision- they will also carry signals- Other than securing the ANSI Standard for Poles, are there some good references? I've checked out the site: woodpoles.org and their PowerPoint Presendations.

I'm looking for other references.

There is some software called , "LD-Pro" (LD = Line Design) by a company in Washington called Itron. PG&E uses this software to design overhead transmission lines.

There is also some limited information here. The exhibits are more useful than the text:

A Buddy gave me this Info which I think is what I needed.

Phil...............Here's the CPUC Order 95 Bible, including Table 4 = FSTable 5 = Wood StrengthTable 6 = Min EmbedTable 9 = Guy Dia
Thank you for the other leads!!!
