Using variable measure as an input for damping coefficient

Does creo mechanisms (specifically a dynamic analysis) allow you to use a measure that is changing in time (ie the measure is computed at each time step) as an input to a damping coefficient? I will try this out anyway but wanted to know from the community if this has been successfully done before. I noticed that the value in the damping coefficient entry does not necessarily need to be a number, meaning that it can be a parameter. But does the parameter have to be static?

Thanks
