I'm new in using AutoCad R14. I'm drawing a 3-D object and I need to apply some materials with different effects (transparency, etc.) The problem is that a lot of materials are green. I tried to open a sample drawing that comes with AutoCad and render it, but the drawing was green! and it shouldn't look like that. Then I tried to modify some materials, but most of them were green. I tried to change the values of the colours. The colour of the material changes but not as I think it should do. I don't know how to solve it. Does anyone know Why does it happens and what to do to solve it? Thanks a lot.

Make a 3d drawing and after that activate the render toolbar. Open the materials library and import one of the samples.
Open materials, select your imported material and press attach. Then you can apply the material to an 3d entity

Using render now must show some effects. Steven van Els

If I understand you correctly, you have the same problem I had when rendering drawings on some old ATI graphic card.
It used to happen only on that crad (all rendered scenes were green). try to render same drawing at other machine.

Which graphic card do you use?
