The Giroud and Han 2004 uses number of axle passes and wheel load in the equaition, can wheel load be replaced with one single 9,000 lbs wheel load (ESAL =18,000 lbs)and substitute passes with ESALs for road system ? Example using 100,000 ESALs for low volume unpaved road system with a 5 year life span, or is it sensitive to a small number of larger axle loads?
