Hi.
I have a problem with a geometry that I want to create.
I would like to copy a part along a curve, but I want the parts to follow the curve with the curves angle (the "back" of the copies of the part should have a 90° to the curve). I've tried to use the User Pattern but then all the new parts have the same angle as the original... Can I lock the "backs" of the copies to the curve?
Thanks,
Maria

Sounds like a good use for a PowerCopy.

Are you doing this in Assembly Design workbench?

Or, are you doing this in Part Design? with multiple part bodies?

Sorry. I mis-read the original post. In the case of an Assembly, I think you can use Product Templates (if you have the PKT License). These work in a Product very similarly to PowerCopies in a single Part document.

Hello.
I am new to the CatiaV5 world. I need to know how to reproduce a pocket (450 times)along a 3D extracted curve so it stays normal and at 90deg to curve.

Thanks.
