Thanks. That is a handy which I plan to save for quick easy plotting at work where I have no math software other than excel.

Just wish I knew enough about excel to understand how it works.

Actually, I tried to modify the spreadsheet to add a second function for plotting.

I could not get the EVALUATE function to work under any circumstances. I put it in a separate cell and tried to feed it all kinds of arguments but it didn't like any of them. Also could not find anything about it in excel help. Can anyone explain how to make EVALUATE work?

unfortunately, i am not aware of how the EVALUATE function works. a quick search via internet gave limited results - see web links:
