Hi,

I am new to this forum and hope this is the right place for my question.

I have an optical PH sensor using a USB port connect with my PC, so I can read data from the sensor. Now the problem is I have to connect the sensor with a single board computer, on this board there is only MS-DOS system and no USB drivers. Do you guys think it is possiable to write a driver for the USB port under DOS for this particular usb port from the sensor? Could you give any suggestions or advices about how to write a usb driver? And any places I can study on the website? Very appreciate for your help.

Thanks in advance,

Lidan

Do not know for sure, but aren't there USB to serial converters available? This may be the easisest if the SBC has an available serial port.

I did some limited leg work, appears that it is not likely to find a serial (PC side) to USB (device side) converter. The other way is feasible. Is there a PS/2 port on the SBC?

Is this SBC plugged into an expansion bus, or is it completely standalone?
