US motor information

I am looking for some info on a US motor. It is a model 7972B, 40 Hp, 1775 rpm, 324T frame, 460 V, 47.5 amp, type TCE, corro-duty, premium efficiency motor. I am trying to get # of rotor bars and stator slots. I tried their website but to no avail. Also called and have not heard back as of yet. E-mail didn't work either. Any info would be deeply appreciated.

I have information for the stator of a US Motor, Type TCE, 230/460 Volts, 95/47.5 Amps, 230/460 Volts, Frame 324T. It has 48 stator slots, winding has 18Turns per coil with 3#16 wire, pitch 1 - 11 , 48 coils, 4Delta/2Delta connection.

I have been told that US Motors is out of business. It sucks they are good motors.

No way they are out of business, I just dealt with them last week. You are probably misconstruing a story circulated a while ago that US Motors are no longer made in the US, which is true. Emerson, their parent, is still the largest "US owned" electrical manufacturer, but has now moved all motor production to Mexico and/or is brand labeling asian motors.

I will say however that they are very slow to respond and not all that helpfull lately. I too have been looking for an answer on a technical issue and have been getting little to no meaningful help. If I am ever in the position to offer my recommendation on them again, I will probably say no.

I have been dealing with US Motors problems as well, here is the e-mail for the guy i worked with, he seemed helpful and responded in a timely manner
