hello everyone,
i have been trying to thermal analysis on pro mechanica
in the native mode. Am doing a thermal analysis on a
electric vehicle gearbox housing. Everytime i start the
run, It stops with a fatal error in the meshing phase
without mentioning the place of the error.
( Error message:
Mechanica could not generate elements for all of the
entities in the model. Use the Info->Diagnostics
menu to review detailed messages and problem areas).

And there is this whole confusion that the model gets
meshed properly in the FEM mode and i do not know how to
proceed with the analysis in that mode.

Am not able to figure out where the problem is so that i
can correct it.. can some one help me with this??

Is any specific problem listed in Info->Diagnostics? Or is that unhelpful too?

no..its of no use.. wat i did was to simplify the model as
simple as possible and tried to mesh each and every
component and see where exactly the problem is. there were
problem in two parts of the assembly. I corrected one of
them, but the second is not getting meshed (individually,
not as a assembly) no matter wat geometric changes i do. it
ends with a fatal error. but this time it shows where the
error is but am not able to correct it. any inputs would
be appreciated.
