Hi,
During my work, I need to adjust one time-coefficient(1m20s--1m50s) on the PLC for control use. But as I download the modified data to PLC,the system shows "not enough load memory space'.I check the working memory . it is about 94% used. But What confused me more is that I only modify one coefficient. Why cause this problems(occupy such big memory?). I need your help to settle this problem but not cost extra money to buy a lager memory.Would u help me .Thanks for your time and attention

just a thought, is there some memory that is dedicated or reserved? Also, in binary is going to 1m50s requiring an additional byte of memory?

Just a thought, but you might need to compress the memory. To do this under Simatic Manager go to PLC,then from the drop down menu choose Module Information. Choose the memory tab and there is a button to compress the memory. I have had this problem before when there was plenty of free memory. I just needed to use this compress memory function.
Maybe you are having the same problem. Hope this helps.

With memory that full you must delete the bolck you are trying to replace! If the process can not stop delete OB1 first (Iam assuming your Block is being called by OB1.) Then delte your Block Being replaced. From the off line manager select your new block then OB1 and download.
