We are quoting a piercing die. There will be several holes punched with an extrusion around the hole to take a #10 self tapping screw.
my question is: Would urethane strippers work or should we quote this as having a standard steel stripper plate with springs and stripper bolts?
The strip is 16 Ga CRS.
My concern is that the strip might hang on the extrusion punch with more force than a urethane stripper would exert.
