Hello Ladies and Gents,

I am looking a for a source of information for the upright load capacities of different pipe sizes and grades.

I am designing specific supports for a structural module, and I am going to be using pipe as my load bearing material and cannot find a load bearing chart for pipe bein used in this manner.. This is a common product used in my field but I cannot seem to find a drawing for a "mod can" so I will research and design my own.

Thanks for any assistance.

If you just mean using pipe as a column, see the AISC structural steel specification or whatever other code might be applicable.
Depending on your application, it might be pipe (ie, fluid transport item) or structural tubing (column), and the available grades, costs, tolerances, etc. will vary.
