Upper limit on f'c

I'm getting cylinder results submitted that are all 1.6 to 1.8x f'c. Is there a code limit on exceeding f'c? Min reo check is ok.

If no limit, anything to know about lifting young concrete? It's hitting enough strength at under a day. Wondering if it hasn't gone off enough to be treated like older concrete.

 
There is a code limit in 14.6.4 for walls in Seismic design.

Some things like curing are dependent on age not strength. And it is possible that Concrete Modulus has not increased at the same rate.

I would be questioning the mix design.
 
@rapt - thanks. It's precast beams for s council beach thing. Bridge mix for durability.
