Update Undo Happened NX - Restarting NX

I have an inconsistent problem with the error Update Undo Happened. Usually when something downstream of a change breaks, NX tells me the error but allows me to complete the update and click through the error pop-up window. After this I go down the feature tree, find the error, and fix it. However, sometimes it gives me Update Undo Happened and doesn't let me complete the feature change at all. The only way I've found to remedy this is to simply restart NX. I am using teamcenter, but closing team center is not necessary.

Any thoughts? I think a setting may get changed somewhere, but I'm not sure why or where.
