Hi,

I would like to know, if there is an ASTM specification for bolting in the grade N08926.
I have to supply some bolts and nuts , and I don't know how to proceed, and what standard to applied.
Thank you for your help.

There is no ASTM specification for bolting that references grade UNS N08926. The closest is UNS S31254 in ASTM A193 (externally threaded fasteners) and UNS N08367 in ASTM A194 (internally threaded fasteners). S31254 is called B8MLCuN in A193 and N08367 is called 9C in A194. I suggest you review these two standards, as well as ASTM A962, in order to determine how to specify your custom/unique bolting.

I would suggest that you look at super duplex grades for bolting. Getting enough cold work (and uniform cold work) in a 6%Mo austenitic for good fasteners is rather difficult.
