UNIVERSAL RIVET 7050 CRACKS

Need some help, can any one tell me how can a rivet crack only during installation. The rivet would pass driveability on more than two labs but when installed the rivet show cracks. Has any one encounter such problem?

Big1995,
In order to answer your question I would need more information on how you are installing the rivet.
Are you squeeze riveting, using a pneumatic rivet hammer,
or an electromagnetic hammer?
7050 rivets tend to get micro cracks in the formed head if they are formed slowly.

Also... are these rivets anodized or chemical conversion coated?
