Unique PDM Quicksilver-DDM

Is someone familiar to Quicksilver-DDM?
Is it configurable with custom properties?
Is is as fast as they claim?

I don't know anything about Quicksilver, but have something to comment on about all PDM software. Be careful and ask these types of questions when looking into a PDM solution. My company went with ProductCenter from Workgroup Technologies, only to learn that ProductCenter worked with Properties, but not Custom Properties. Synergis Adept will allow you to map any of the custom properties including the system properties (first tab on the properties dialog - Title, Author, Keywords, etc...), the build in custom properties (Checked by, Client, etc...) as well as any custom properties you add yourself (Color, Material, MRP Code, etc...)

Additionally, it will allow you to batch update the custom properties in a directory full of SolidWorks files, adding the custom property if the file does not already have it.

I think they won 'Best of Show' at NDES this year but don't quote me on that.

We have got some kind of our own built version and revision
management. So we kind of know what the new package should be able to do or do even better.
And of course test run of the program is
needed not just demo.
Before all that any comments from users would be a start here!
