I have seen a block created which allows one to go into its
attributes of the block and turn parts of that block on and
off. This is done by turning on attributes %%200, %%201..., and is created using unicode.

1. The associated .SHP file which was complied is no longer
available. Can the .SPX file be unconfigured to allow
me to see the actual format?

2. If the answer to #1 is no, do you have an example to show
how it is done. All books I have looked at do not go into
any detail.

Champ, this seems to me to be a question to be submitted to Autodesk forum: If I am right, then copying this text to eng-tips: Autodesk forum may get you a quicker response.

I may not be right, for which I would apologize

In regard to my answer, you mentioned this should be submitted to autodesk, is this something I should do
or was it forwarded by you guys.

If I need to forward it, what is this process?
