Anyone who get experience of such special fittings? As I understand from reading the paragraph below, as a purchaser I feel that I need to get manufacturer's drawing in order to understand dimensions of their NPS28 SR elbows. However, the supplier/manufacturer said: NO - they made fittings according to ASME B16.9, although ASME B16.9 does not include dimensions of SR elbows above NPS24, they made extrapolation for A dimension by the (NPS number X 25.4) calculation. From practical use perspective I feel no issue, only to consider the compliance and future complexities, should I insist drawings acquisition from this supplier/manufacturer?

Often the answers you get depend on the question that you ask.

It seems obvious that you, as the user of the part, need to know some basic dimensions. Otherwise how do you design it into your system?

Perhaps the supplier interpreted your question as over-reaching.
