Hi!

First time poster, long time reader.

I'm working on a sort of capstone project at Cal, where I'm transferring power from one shaft to another using a 1220 tooth gates gt2 belt and I was wondering what difference the number of teeth on the pulley will have on the pulleys resistance to skipping a tooth in the case of belt stretch. I'm currently using a 60 tooth pulley in the design, but I have these 20 tooth pulleys and I'm wondering if I could use these instead?

Also I calculate that for the 60 tooth pulleys I need a 550mm distance between pulley axes. Should I go ovr or under this for any reason? This is a low torque application.

Thanks!
