There is a product here:
for underground chilled water piping.
Let me ask why you want to put it underground? It makes it hard to maintain, check for leaks and etc.
Put it above ground where you can see it, it can expand and you can repair the jacket when it fails.

in this situations, it is recommendable to use pre-insulated pipe with a PVC cover for protection. It saves a lot in installation cost and is not that expensive.

Try these people, they do a pre-insulated pipe with built in leak detection. I have used it in the past and had no problems with it.

We have been doing it lately by having leak detection wires running in the insulation and which indicate any moisture penetration or loss in insulation value when the continuity fails at select controllers installed above ground.
The manufacturers of the pipes will guide u more on the jacketing resistivity and the injected foam insulation .
Just be careful during installation or man u have some work at hand rectifying during your continuity checks .![[tongue]](/data/assets/smilies/tongue.gif "[tongue] [tongue]")

I am not aware what your climatic conditions are.
Around here, (Minnesota) the depth of bury required to prevent freezing also gives a stable temperature of around +/- 50 degrees F. This means that insulation is not really needed. There is not enough of a delta T to economically justify insulation. The thick walled plastic pipes that are typically used have a signifigant R value in themselves.
