Hi,
In need to create an UNC screw.
The thd_metric.dat standard released with NX doesn't have UNC thread, so I searched on Google and found an UNC table.
I edited the thd_metric.dat with this table, but I've error to use.
Attached the file.
It's clear that the UNC text it's inserted in the list present in the customer default.

Thank you...

It would appear that the data that you've added only has six columns of space-delimted parameters. However, the software is looking for SEVEN.

You should also have a thd_english.dat file that has the UNF and UNC threads.

Hi Ben and John,
with your help I've found the solution.
Copy the Unified data from the English to Metric file.

Thank you...

Why copy it at all, you can switch between the 2 files to select the thread size you need.
There is a configuration option, I think, that tells NX which thread files to use and list in the thread type drop down menu.

Thank you looslib,
I've tried and works fine.
The problem was that I was looking for the UNC name in the list, instead on Unified.

Thank you...
