Hi Folks -
Where are some of the environments where a UL94 V-0 rating might be required. The product is a storage battery.
Why?

UL94V-0 has to do with flammability. Basically it means that the stuff stops burning soon after you remove a flame from it, and doesn't emit flaming drips.

It's commonly specified for thermoplastics used as electrical insulation, and in any application where a material that makes a fire worse would be a bad thing.

UL-V0 is fire rating. For example, many plastics that is used on home appliances have to have V0 rating to reduce fire potential.

It all depends on the safety certifications you want to obtain.
