Hi,

I'm an experienced NX user just starting out with SW. I'm used to re-naming parameters in NX and then using them in expressions such as "Length = Width/2". Can I do something similar to this in SW please?

Cheers

Thanks for your help. I'll give that a go.

Cheers.

rattler,
Welcome to the Solidworks forum. The folks here are very helpful, and are very detailed in answering your questions. Good luck with the Solidworks (aka SW) software. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. There are a lot of aches and pains with SW, just like any other CAD software's, like UG NX.

Best,
