UG/NX Spline to Circle Conversion Macro

Dealing "Edge Geometry" data via a direct Catia 5 to NX translator which NX converts to a spline which by tribal knowledge should be a circle. Is there a NX Macro that converts splines to circles that would be more efficient than defining points on geometry then creating an arc from 3 points?

in nx 8.5 there is something called fit curve for curves,
for edges you may look at optimize face doing these repairs at edges and segmentes cylinders
