UDF positioning problem

Using NX8.5.1.3
I am trying to put in a UDF (NPT tapped hole).
I select the surface for it and the position dialog box pops up.
I click on Point onto Point, and Parallel at Distance comes up.
If I click Point onto Line, Angular comes up.
Something fishy going on.
How do I get Point onto Point?
