How many types of transmission towers are there and what are the conditions to use these types,,plz suggest any book which contains information on transmission towers design

There are as many different tower designs as one's imagination could develop, but the most common are:

Monopole
3-leg lattice
4-leg lattice
Guyed "Space frame"
