what type of a gasket to use for flange 12" ANSI B16.5 CLASS 300 R.F. (16 HOLES)

What fluid are you trying to contain, at what temperature and what pressure?

in the low pressure oil system, just paper (garlock)
in the low press steam system, flexitalic with stop ring

its Gas,at 600-700degrees.

yes,the (300 diam)duct will operate at that temperature which is why its hot insulated.
