y are lower floor shear walls, z are upper floor shear walls. z wall drag struts are wood trusses, y wall has only collectors the length of the wall. As long as the diaphragm allowable forces are not exceeded, is it necessary to have drag struts for the lower floor walls that extend to outside wall 4?

As long as diaphragm shear AND chord forces due to moment are accounted for, you can assume only the floor and roof system on one side of the corridor (as shown) acts as the diaphragm. The rest of the floor and roof system just push or pull the lateral forces into the actual diaphragms.

So, to use one/half of the building as shown, chord forces for lines 1 and 2 should be calculated. To use 1 and 4, I need drag struts to 4.
 
Can you put some dimensions or lateral loads to your diagram? What is the height of the floors?. Just looking at this,I would try 4-north south y-walls, the 2 upper z-walls and the 4 walls East-West(1,2,3,& 4). Where are the perimter walls in the N-S direction? What is the distance between 1 & 2 as you show it? What is the wall construction?? Need alot more info,to get you the in right direction.
