Is there a way to turn off the hand when modifying dimensions? It always seems to grab what I don't want it to and often causes much grief. I believe it is called freeform drag but am not too sure. When I click on a part to modify a dimension the hand comes up and offers to grab a feature and drag it to modify it. I often move the mouse when I click on a dimension and the hand often grabs and moves what I don't want it to.

ENABLE_FREEFORM_MOVEMENT yes/no

Hopefully in future releases they will have undo functionality for feature modification and this option won't be needed.

You can find this and other options on the following website.

Hope this helps,

Michael

hello

the option described above its a hidden option

advanced users knows about hidden options in proe and their usage

the option described above doesn't not effect the freeform drag

PTC doesn't allow this function (freeform drag) to be controled by an option, just learn to live with it
