I'm trying to define the overall sound pressure levels and corresponding pressure spectral densities acting on the OML of a launch vehicle as a function of dynamic pressure (Q) and mach. The following paper defines fluctuating pressure levels for attached and detached flows for several launch vehicle geometries:

Vibration Response of Spacecraft Shrouds to In-Flight Fluctuating Pressures; J.A. Cockburn & J.E. Robertson

I can use the results from this paper, however its pretty old (circa 1973) and was wondering if the methodologies defined are the latest. Is there any literature/textbooks that are considered the industry standard for defining turbulent boundary layer fluctuating pressure levels? Usually I'm on the receiving end of the already-generated vibro-acoustic responses and haven't had to actually generate the fluctuating pressure levels before.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks much
