Hi

Is there any method to implement element deletion in a truss/beam model? This means that when an element in a truss starts experiencing yield stress, it transfers the loads to other elements?

Basically, a nonlinear analysis that when a element reaches its ultimate stress, i.e., it has failed, the load then gets distributed to other members/elements?

First i admire your single handed efforts "they should put more experts like you here on this important branch"
If you have a Reference with solved examples using Element deletion ? (especially for Reinforced concrete elements)
these YouTube channels; define element deletion (Not convincing nor clear)

Abaqus documentation is the best source of examples (input files ready to be solved). You can use the abaqus findkeyword command to search for input files containing particular keywords (and thus involving particular features).
