For our future internal needs in the manufacturing shop I try to define a short list of producers of punching machines, having similar reliability as Trumpf.
Any ideas, please ?

One of the things that will drive this decision is your existing tooling.
Unless you are prepared to invest in a whole new set of punches and dies.

Do you need true punching or will a laser machine work? We replaced our Whitney turret punch with laser machines. Had to do some minor redesigns where we had been using a louver type punched opening. The laser machines are great for cutting parts from sheets.

We are evaluating a new business, therefore we will have to invest in a complete new machine, tooling included.

True punch is better than laser for this application.
