I am a new engineer with a company that designs/builds Air Ride Suspensions for trucks.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any design/reference books for Air Ride Suspensions specifically or Truck Suspensions in general.

Thanks

You may find some good info. in Theory of Ground Vehicles by Wong.

This is one of my hobbies. My Sonoma is outfitted with a complete air spring suspension set-up. My best reference material came from simple statics, i.e. free-body diagrams, range of motion geometry, etc.
After that, the existing linkage designs and automotive suspension designs are a good source for me.
Society of Automotive Engineers comes to mind.

There are quite a few SAE papers on this subject, including a book: "Truck Vehicle Dynamics & Suspensions", ref: #SP-1728.

Firestone Industrial Products Company is the dominant player in North America for truck air springs.
