Can anyone help out with this one.

Example what line type should look like --FOC--

Example of what is happening to the line type __FOC__

The problem is that the text on the line type is
being placed under or above the line and offset instead
of being centred in the line. This happens once the
line has been modified.

We, cant seem to figure out what the solution is, and
were working in Autocad 2002.

Thanks,
Mark.

Hi Mark,

how is Your code in the *.lin? Which textstyle do You use?

Lothar

Mark,

It definitely sounds like it is text style related. When you create the linetype, create a text style that will only be used for that linetype. Use the express tools to create the line type (by far the easiest way to do it).

In your linetype definition check the value of Y and adjust as necessary
