Anyone have any ideas about the trip generating potential of an event center? The proposed 'Events' are weddings,car auctions, merchandise auctions and car shows. The ITE trip data books do not cover anything related to this land use. I may use arena or movie theater (suggested by the Boss) Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance for any input on this issue.

Trip Generation for Event Center

My advice would be to go out and do traffic counts at a similar location near you. I've noticed that recently I've been using the ITE Trip Gen book less and less because their are many relevant categories that they just don't provide data for. Instead, I've been doing a lot of counting of my own.
