hello out there, new to the forum,
1. is there anyone out there that knows of a very inexpensive source for cfd modeling? preferrably free-ware on-line or downloadable?
2. in terms of pitch & roll stability, which surfaces combination offers the best pitch and roll control:
Combo 1 (standard airfoil shape) at subsonic less than 250 mph.
a. canard/stabilitator (composite material)- rear sweep/delta design mounted forward of wing-in line with wing
b. forward swept wing (40 degrees forward sweep)(composite material)
c. horizontal stabilizer (half delta design)- same size as canard with elevator/trim tab setting.
d. dual vert. stabilizer (half-delta design) with rudder/trim tabs.

Combo 2
(standard airfoil) at subsonic(250 mph or less)
a. aft (rear) swept wing (delta design-composite)
b. vertical and horizontal stabilizer (composite-mounted aft of wing)incorporated rudder and elevator with trim tabs, with half-delta design as Combo 1).

any info would help.
