Tray Cable under raised Computer Floor

It is my contention, with an inspector, that running Tray Cable under a raised Computer Floor, supported by uni-strut, is permitted by the NEC under 336.10 (7). Do you agree?

As long as you are in an industrial facility where the conditions of maintenance and supervison ensure that only qualified individuals service the installation and the cable is marked as type TC-ER, this section applies.

If this is a commercial buidling or an institution (school, hospital, etc) this seciton does not apply. If it is a data center, you have to argue that a data center is an industrial installation. I'd call it more a commercial building.

It is in an industrial facility, but it is type TC cable. I took the reference to type TC-ER as a specific instance of when the cable left the tray and was unsupported for 6 feet to utilization equipment; then you must use type TC-ER.

Interestingly, if your data center qualifies under article 645, TC can be routed loose under the floor.
