Can anyone provide links or information on unclassified transparent armor trade studies or trade-offs?

Looking for information on transparent ballistic protection against small arms and fragmentation for crew and passengers. The threat level is up to MIL-PRF-46103E standard light weight composite armor Type 3.

There have been a couple of threads on here (whole site not forum) about 'tranparent aluminum' one of them related to a tranparent aluminum ceramic if I remember correctly, it had a link to the manufacturer. Maybe you can find it.
